In recent auctions, Scandinavian designs, along with the major international jewel brands, have sold strongest.
Names such as Torun Bülow-Hübe, Sigurd Persson, Wiwen Nilsson, Bvlgari, Chopard, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels attract Swedish and international buyers.
Gemstones are also in strong demand at Important Jewellery. In the most recent auctions, jewellery with sapphires has repeatedly gone for considerably more than the starting price.

Our latest Important Jewellery auction
Saturday, November 30th, the autumn 2024 Important Jewellery was held at Kaplans.
The auction featured several exciting biddings and resulted in high final prices for many items. Particularly sought after were antique jewels and modern design pieces from brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Bvlgari and Cartier.
Three highlights from the auction:
Lot 1: A Serpenti Viper ring from Bvlgari in white gold, adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, sold for SEK 76 000, estimated SEK 50 000.
Lot 100: A pearl brooch with old- and rose-cut diamonds, sold for SEK 104 000, estimated SEK 17 000.
Lot 114: An Art Deco bracelet with diamonds and onyx from Van Cleef & Arpels, sold for SEK 520 000, estimated SEK 300 000.
