A BASKET WITH HANDLE, silver gilt, of openwork oval form with naturalistic floral and foliate decoration, on four bracket feet, by John Romer, London, 1772, length 17,3 cm, height 4,5 cm, weight 190,8 g, hallmarks fully struck, somewhat rubbed but legible, small dent at this point, repairs visible to the reverse of pierced decoration, wear to gilt, overall in good condition in accordance with age.
